The validity period of the special permit for the exploitation of the Malyshevske titanium ore production field by the United Mining and Chemical Company has been prolonged for 20 years. The corresponding order No. 752 was signed by the Head of the State Geologic and Subsoil Survey of Ukraine Roman Opimakh on October 20, 2021.

The Malyshevske production field of titanium-zirconium ores is located near Vilnohirsk, Dnipropetrovsk region. The main minerals extracted at the production field by the Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Plant are ilmenite, rutile and zircon. The development of the Malyshevske production field has begun in 1961.

«The prolongation of the special permit for the development of the Malyshevske production field guarantees the stable operation of the Vilnohirsk plant for years to come. Also it guarantees the Vilnohirsk city budget incomes and provides opportunities for the community and region development» – commented on the decision Yegor Perelygin, Acting Chairman of UMCC Management Board.
